Aquarius Full Moon
Man, random people tell me the weirdest things sometimes. Like one morning at work I learned there’s cat pee in some expensive brands of cologne. It’s not every fragrance, but I think I remember a daily radio show telling me that Obsession by Calvin Klein has some of the “magical” substance in it. Apparently, it’s so wildly powerful, cat researchers spray it on their remote trail cameras to attract elusive jungle beasts. I guess there's a derivative from civet urine that’s irresistible to females both human and feline alike. Hopefully they use a synthesized form and don’t have to try and manually collect the actual ingredient. I can only imagine how that process would be done. All pissing around aside, the Aquarius full Moon is great for many things. Ancient farmers would use the extra light and physical energy to stay out tending to their crops. Today’s farmers are up just as late but don’t have to work nearly as hard. New age crop growers spend their hours fixing fancy schmancy equipment and dealing with government regulations or paperwork. If you get a case of insomnia for a couple nights don’t just lie in bed. Even if you’re just binging out on video games, get up and do something. It’s especially productive to work on that brilliant idea you’ve just had. Nights like these are when that stroke of genius hits. This is when you discover a great way to improve your Moonshine still.
Cliche astrology always describes Aquarius as rebellious and destined to break free from restrictions. It’s also extremely eccentric and peculiar like none other. If you feel like being a complete oddball or doing something wildly different, then do so. Maybe inspiration comes from someone or something outside your normal social circle. A complete stranger may open your eyes to the world. Try telling your boss or other controlling forces to kick rocks. Just remember your erratic behavior will easily cause more problems than your resources can solve. My favorite suggestion is, figure out how you can turn a hobby into something profitable. Find something you love and develop a way to make money doing it. Set some plans for your definitive goals and how you can accomplish them. Not just for yourself as an individual but for projects that better society as a whole. Contemplate what you can do to improve the community on a more personal and local level. People who can find a way to challenge themselves intellectually will discover that it will inspire them to challenge themselves physically. Then you’ll accomplish something you never thought possible.
New Moon
September 21st: 29 degree Virgo

As for myself, the Virgo New Moon is usually muy no bueno as they would say en Espanol. Organization along with responsibility are key philosophies for the mutable Earth sign, and a clusterf@#k mess like myself isn’t too hip with stuff like that. Unless I initiate the change, I accept it like a tyrannosaur accepts an enema. Maybe you’ll fare better than me but, I’m gonna settle this one kicking and screaming. What’s important for everyone is that this Moon cycle sparks inspiration for some kind of change. It might just be a little stint of cleaning out your random junk drawer, or as massive as getting a new car because your current one crapped itself. Whatever you do, now is the time to analyze and criticize little details or intricacies. Make a bunch of lists ranging from what you want to accomplish to things you hate and need to change. One of the setbacks is there’s only so much you can do with your limited time and resources. Plot things out for three days, three weeks, and months ahead. Don’t waste your time fantasizing about the three years ahead. Instead, take time analyzing the three years behind you and try to learn from past mistakes.
Also make sure to remember that blueprints are vital in any type of construction project. Going the extra mile to gather all the facts will ensure your calculations are more precise, which will lead to more desirable results. Just be attentive and not waste too much energy on useless actions. It’s really easy to take a three step process and turn it into a seven during this phase. Another tendency during this alignment is to start hoarding little things that might be useful later. Think about supplies and refer back to your list of goals for three days, three weeks, and three months. Unless it’s a diet plan or health regiment, don’t start something completely new. This is a planning and processing phase where you need to focus on the efficiency of your resources. Take advantage of the OCD Virgo produces and clean up some kind of mess. My best suggestion is to start with the problems right in front of you. How neat and tidy is your office space or tool box? Make sure your food scraps and dirty laundry are picked up before tackling any major issues. Also make sure it’s a complication you individually created that you're dealing with. Don’t get involved in other people’s drama and in one month your life will be better. House position during this lunation is where I would start my renovations. Look at that area of your natal chart and make a concrete decision to change.
